An interesting production from the independent of all independent film-makers, Jim Jarmusch. This stylish, super-cool vampire flick is as far-removed from the Twilight series as you can get. Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston are perfectly cast as the blood-sucking lovers, Adam and Eve (!) As usual there are fabulous exterior shots-this time of Detroit and Tangiers. There is very little violence and it is funny (eg," I was not born last night-it was the night before.") A good change from the multi-plex fare.
