    Paranoia

This two hour snooze fest was a remake of an earlier, far better movie. It was apparently intended to appeal to the "hi-tech" generation and started out with a lot of babbling about cell phones, etc., but it had unbelievable, unsympathetic characters, flat, wooden "acting", and a weak, boring story. The big name actors they threw in were just there to con us suckers into wasting our time and money, and they obviously knew it, but at least their "bad guy" roles had SOME personality... which is far more than can be said about the "hero", his pals, and the girlfriend. If there were any "moral" to the story it was that amoral narcissists will become good people if only they cooperate with the FBI (?!?), Insipid barely says it...
