Way over-the-top but hilarious movie! Middle aged former arcade nerds going out to try to save the world from a set of classic 1980’s video games such as Galaga, Arkanoid, Space Invaders, Centipede, Pac-Man, and Donkey Kong. What an outrageous, funny, and original storyline! Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Ludlow Lamonsoff, and Peter Dinklage are insanely comical and it is easy to see they are acting out a childhood dream. Q*bert is a cute side kick to the zany heroes. I must say the special effects in this film are awesome – absolutely first rate! Provided you ignore the absurdness in the script and the unbelievable plot, you will be crazily entertained!
