Push is a pretty good movie as far as it goes, but it feels more like the first episode of a TV mini-series than a stand-alone movie. Dakota Fanning is great and Chris Evans is good... the action makes various psi powers look realistic rather than gee-whiz comic-book stuff and the gritty Hong Kong backstreet locations are suitably grungy and exotic. Unfortunately this movie isn't so spectacular that it's guaranteed a sequel... where all the interesting character and story development must necessarily be, since it really isn't in this movie.
