    Queen and Country

John Boorman's Queen and Country picks up where his Oscar Nominated Film Hope and Glory left off, a brilliant film starring Sarah Miles. This is another war drama with a young Brit as he comes into adolescence during the Korean War. It is a fair movie, but nowhere near the incredible beauty and success of Hope and Glory. Remember John Boorman is now 87. I think for a man of that age the film can't be dismissed below a 5. He has stated out rightly this was his last film.
