Resident Evil: Afterlife

I was expecting a bit more substance considering this is at least the 4th in the video game genre series to hit the BiG screen. For a movie based on a video game franchise, it fairs pretty well at the Box office. As for 3D entertainment, the visuals were nice enough but a little too over the top trying to sell the audience on scenes of Alaska and an airplane ride we could have easily done without. Nothing original was brought to the table here and we are left wanting. Seems that in this case, more effort was spent in 3D scenes and not enough was put into more character development and story. Mila Jovovich has her part down cold but still this could have been so much better.
