    Running from Crazy

This is a very frank, honest attempt by Mariel Hemingway, the actor in finding some answers in the very brutal world of mental illness and suicide which has plagued her family. Her grandfather, the great writer Ernest Hemingway, committed suicide in 1960, but who knows how far back this severe problem has plagued the family. Mariel's sister, Margot Hemingway, a model and actress also suffered from mental illness and committed suicide as well... as a young adult. Archival footage is quite interesting as are the interviews, all in an attempt at more understanding. This is not easy to watch, especially if plagued with one form of mental illness or another. The subject matter did disturb me!
