I watched this film in 2D but I should have chosen 3D because the destruction of the buildings was mind-blowing. Most disaster films have as last a half a dozen big name stars- not just one- but somehow, concentrating on a single family worked. The female character of "Blake" was so incredibly beautiful, I can totally understand the British young man trying to save her, in order to ingratiate himself. The actress who portrayed Blake might be the break-out star of this film. She has the potential of becoming another Jennifer Lawrence.
