The film puts forward a couple of interesting concepts, primarily that numbers are the foundation of the creation of this planet, and the maintenance of a proper balance of these numbers is paramount to its continued existence. Otherwise, chaos ensues. A nerd's delight, but a concept not easy to dismiss. This film is about chaos. The exteriors are beautiful. Tilda Swinton adds another gem to her arsenal of offbeat roles, Ed Harris' reprisal of his powerful 'Truman Story' character was a delight, and Allison Pill's horrifically entertaining cameo as a schoolteacher with a song will leave you either laughing gleefully or terribly depressed.. Nonetheless the film's core is still chaos, and over-the-top-violence is not something I go to films to see anymore. I would have difficulty staying with this movie even on TV. Those who are partial to that type of entertainment will enjoy the film more than I did.
