    Sound of My Voice

This is a powerful lesson about cults and those who become enmeshed in that horrific dilemma. It concerns a beautiful woman (Britt Marling), the leader of the cult, supposedly a woman from the future. And so starts this enigma of a film that bewilders the viewer perhaps just a few too many times. As a husband and wife team investigate, it brings nothing but danger, some real thrills along the way. This is not a facile film, often leaving the viewer in a puzzled state of mind, some of my friends totally confused as to the proceedings. One truly has to concentrate on the thesis of the movie as well as the way it is shot. I still can't totally decide if this was a worthwhile experience so I'm going right down the line! It's a bit of a strange hybrid!
