A score of "7" means a good movie, worth seeing - and I do recommend this movie, but I am not as excited about it as some people although I can understand why they liked it so much. In comparison to other summer movies this is definitely one of the better ones. However, if you compare it to other movies of this genre that have come out in recent years (such as Narnia), it doesn't fare nearly as well. I found the editing and the storyline a little choppy, especially in the beginning of the movie. The other problem is the sound editing. The dialog frequently gets drowned out by the music and the sound effects. In the scene where Robert De Niro's character first gets introduced I defy anybody to tell me what they are saying. This problem recurs throughout the film, but there is enough action and the storyline is still interesting enough to carry the film. Go see it in a matinee or on a "discount" Tuesday.
