I totally disagree with all the negativity directed at this film. The cynics are pushing the envelope much too far trying to make a case for Sarah Polley's incompetency with this particular romantic drama. I found nothing annoying about the Michelle Williams/Seth Rogen marriage because it is what I witness with most of my friends' marriages. It's life. I wasn't troubled or disturbed by it in the least. Nor is the meeting and 'relationship' between Williams and Luke Kirby whom I found pretty charming and engaging odd, weird or ridiculous. People have these chance encounters all the time and are often very smitten by them to enormous proportions even within days. The movie poses a series of questions about love, relationships, sex and most importantly about ourselves. I don't get why so may are so annoyed with this film I found charming. I believe many should examine something crucial. What is it in this film that makes them so uncomfortable!
