    The Black Dahlia

Total rubbish of the infamous 1947 horrific, unsolved murder of a young Hollywood starlet. I like all three stars of this 2006 version of the notorious case: Johansson, Swank and especially Josh Hartnett who took leave of Hollywood pretty well after this film wrapped. As of 2015, there are some rumours he might return to Hollywood films. In any case, if one knows the full details of The Black Dahlia and I've read tons about the case, one can't take this film at all seriously. It's another strike-out for Brian De Palma who has always had a very checkered career as a director.
