There is really NOTHING NEW here; a renegade spy agency goes after one of its renegade agents. The premise wasn't well developed despite a promising start because it bogged down in overly long chase scenes and improbable twists to what little plot there was. The decision to film in Manila was good but the total lack of involvement with both the city and Philippine culture denied us an interesting story line and a good look at the many things that make Manila so unique and colourful; we hardly got more than a blurred look at either the omnipresent "jeepneys" or the people. When the film finally ended it just came to a halt without being at all "wrapped up". People looked at one another with a look of, "What? That's IT?!" That's not a good thing after two and a half hours of movie. I wanted to scream," HIRE SOME FREAKING WRITERS FOR GOODNESS' SAKE!!!" Yet another opportunity to make a good movie missed due to the laziness of the Hollywood moguls.
