Not always we are lucky enough to witness a movie that can almost reach the "Masterpiece" definition. "The Danish Girl" is only one step from there. E. Redmayne as a Einar/Lili is simply phenomenal (he already surprised everyone in his remarkable S. Hawkins "The theory of everything" role) He invites you to see a truly dramatic searching of himself and his happiness. His journey is just fantastic and very well played. A. Vikander as a Gerda -wife- drives her performance at the same speed of his partner. She delivers a touching unconditional love and admiration for her husband, her love, life. Transgender pioneer showed with respect, beautifully filmed, impressive costume and dramatic soundtrack. One step back for the script -could be better- but the movie worth anyways. Thanks T. Hooper, another great direction. I loved.
