What a bummer - I was so thrilled with this movie almost the entire way through. I thought," Wow! This is a 10 for sure!" Then, they threw up the credits, in the middle of the movie. There's nothing to complain about during the movie, it's interesting, good acting, great story, some great action scenes... there's just no ending. It's one thing to leave a few open "what-if's" for a sequel, but they really just slapped the credits up before anything was really dealt with in the movie. Do yourself a favor, wait for the rest of the movie to come out, and watch em back to back. Annoying.

Uuuh... this is a trilogy... it's supposed to end with you wondering about what happens next.
It's a trilogy. It's supposed to be a cliffhanger so don't let it spoil the movie for you.
Okay, first off, I didn't know it was a trilogy when I went. In a perfect world, they'd have called it Golden Compass Pt. 1, so I would've been ready to see a third of a movie. There are plenty of trilogies out there that manage to tie up SOME of the loose ends. It just felt lazy to me."Yeah, that's two hours of movie, throw the credit's up! We'll do something with it later."
