The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1

Consider Mockingjay as a prequel instead of a stand-alone story to the next episode in the Hunger Games series. This movie is a necessary step in the overall story in order to avoid the predictable excess CGI that compensates for lack of story line in other Hollywood attempts in this genre. As before, the acting, scenery, lighting, and camera work are top notch; it is only the story line that lacks drama. Mockingjay establishes the new people in the rebel group and tells why the next battle is justified. This movie is essential viewing if you plan to see part 2 of Mockingjay.
