The acting made Robert Downey look like an overpaid hack without the sincerest concern for his father ( R. D. and R. D. J = a not believable mix) and the silly boyish stunts with the ex-girlfriend-of-sorts was a complete wash. Everybody is 'acting' and 'following the script' and comes off disjointed at best. The storyline is ok but the brothers further botch any idea of a believable connection. The casting director should be out of work for some time after this film. If R. D. Jr. one of the highest paid actors in Hokywood, then he should earn his pay. He might have just as well put on his Ironman suit and turned this whole thing into the comic it became.
