    The Last Man on Earth

It's hard to believe a zombie movie could be made without CG, without colour and without blood, and still maintain its grip on your attention. The reason may be Vincent Price, the master of horror and cooking (what's in that stirfry?) More focused on suspense than horror, the film has been remade a number of times by Hollywood. Part of the After Dark Film Festival, it was screened at the Projection Theatre, which appears capable of being a gathering place for indie films.
