This is one of those no-name movies that comes out of nowhere and makes a big impact. Sort of like Slumdog Millionaire, although I don't see this movie quite up to winning best picture honours. Maybe best foreign language film (if it qualifies as such) It is very slow moving at times, but that is part of its charm. This is not a big budget action adventure (i. e. Captain America) and, if that's what you are looking for, take a pass on The Lunchbox. Otherwise, it's very entertaining and very touching. If you've had an opportunity to travel to India and witness the overcrowding and chaos that so often characterizes Mumbai, this movie will be even more meaningful. One note. The movie is about two-thirds subtitled and one-third English, but that shouldn't be a problem for an interested viewer.
