    The Oscar

A horrendous, botched up melodrama about everything that is wrong with Hollywood and the leading actors of that ridiculous film community. The screen play is so bad, the leading players nothing but cardboard characters, the supporting players and some celebrities who play themselves can't do a thing to make this piece of junk work on any level. Stephen Boyd, Elke Sommer and Milton Berle are so bad it is impossible NOT to laugh at the so-called histrionics. OSCAR NIGHT PROVES TO BE ONE SHOCKING EVENING! See only if you are in the mood for a terrific laugh! This easily has to be one of the worst Hollywood movies of the 1960's, a turkey with all the dressing!
