The Raid 2

The Raid: Redemption is easily one of the greatest action movies ever made. It is endlessly re-watchable and has some of the best action sequences ever put to film. Well, The Raid 2 surpasses the original in every way and will go down as one of my favourite action films of all time. The story is very detailed and a little hard to follow at times. That being said, it was a very interesting one that had me curious of what would happen next. The characters were cool and some of them were unnecessary. This is probably my only gripe with the movie. The Raid 2 has the BEST fight scene I've seen in my entire life. It is near the end of the film and is approximately 10 non-stop minutes of carnage in only a few cuts. There were so many OMG moments throughout the movie and there was so much glorious fighting that my heart couldn't stop beating fast. Even at a whopping 2 and a half hours, The Raid 2 goes by very fast. The story is interesting, the pace is supersonic and the action is legendary. See this movie if you liked the first Raid movie or just action in general. RATING: 9.75/10.
