It's great to see John Cusack again on the big screen. Actors of his depth and quality are few and far between these days and he brings a dimension to the film that alone is worth the price of admission. I like the darkness of this film, from the story itself to the way the film was shot. There's an eeriness that permeates it and fits perfectly into the literary style of Poe. It's reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes and The Headless Horseman combined. Stylistic and thoughtful.
