The Revenant

This is one tough and gritty movie. Leo takes quite a beating in this film in more ways than one. He's a survivor who overcomes grueling punishment to seek revenge against the man who killed his son. The acting in this movie is very good, especially by Tom Hardy, who I think steals the show from Leonardo DiCaprio, who, through a big part of the film, says very little verbally. His acting comes from his expression of brutal pain that he endures throughout the movie. This is a very well made movie filmed entirely in the wild. It's about survival and it's not always easy to watch but it is still, none the less, enthralling movie entertainment. It will probably win the Oscar for multiple nominations.
