Loosely based on true events. Loosely is the operative word. No hypothermia no frostbite no starvation and faster then a speeding bullet. Great scenery and DiCaprio plays his role superbly. Man's inhumanity and barbaric treatment of natives, women and fellow man is all too vividly depicted. Not a huge fan of violence and unbridled greed.
