    The Skeleton Twins

Despite the quite serious subject matter, this is a comedy, though I would prefer the term dark or black comedy as themes can be and are rather disturbing. Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig make it all worth while in dual type roles as they provide humour with a dramatic bent that works perfectly. I have seen both in PURE DRAMATIC ROLES and they have not disappointed me. The S.T. is a film of extremes which is not meant as anything negative. Being bi-polar suggests a person is on a total high one day and in desperation a few days later. This film made me feel the anguish that too many of us suffer... it's either the top of the world or a one way ticket to hell itself. This duality of the human psyche/chemical imbalance in the brain, call it what you may is correctly captured on screen as I laughed with a big lump in my throat. I wish many others had seen the film simply to understand how difficult life can be for so many. A big round pf appplause for Hader and Wiig who captured my frame of mind most often. Splendid performances!
