    The U.S. vs. John Lennon

I have one problem with this documentary. Indeed, John Lennon and second wife Oko Ono did much to promote peace. However, John Lennon was hardly the saint the documentary points out in such a one sided manner! There are too many details of his personal family life including his son, his nasty affair with the Beatles and a side to him which many consider pretty ego-maniacal. If he wanted to promote peace as he was doing, he should have started with himself and mend fences that were all too broken. This promoting of world peace seemed almost superfluous as one must get one's own house in order before attempting what he obviously did not achieve in the wider scheme of world order. This is not meant to be offensive to the late singer but as I see and understand matters.
