    Warrior

I thought the movie was very slow moving, tedious and boring for the first half of the movie, but picked up for the second half. Overall, it was so-so. Nothing new here: a dysfunctional family with challenges to overcome within a 'Rocky" style fight format. I much preferred "The Fighter' with Mark Whalberg and Christian Bale: a far superior movie in my opinion. The Fighter was more convincing, and did not seem to be as emotionally manipulative as this movie. Nick Nolte, however, was exceptional as usual in this movie, but aside from that, not bad if you have nothing else to see and you are into these kinds of fight movies. My friend who accompanied me did not like the movie.
