Wow! What a visually stunning movie. I must state that I saw the Imax 3-D version, and was simply awestruck. I am still quite beside myself after having seen such an incredible film. The picture and colors were crisp clean. The indigenous world is simply breathtaking. The actors were great and quite convincing. But it's the story the blew me away. What a wonderful, endearing and enchanting story filled with subtle messaging (ok, maybe not so subtle afterall!!!) This is one of those must-see movie experiences. Mucho Kudos to James Cameron for envisioning this thing so long ago, and for sticking with his vision until the required technology was invented. He truly is a visionary. 10/10, a masterpiece, plain and simple. And I had very high expectations going in.
