This to me was an extremely remarkably well done and was quite an outstanding romantic drama film. Also it was a very tearjerker classic as well. More or less it is only on television, you are not able to see it now as it was done 1939. This film was noted to be the director's very first film with the remarkable film star Greta Garbor. In this film there had been timeless to her portrayal of Marguerite Gauthier that had transcended the actual vagaries of her acting techniques. It was based on the 1852 novel La Dame aux Camelia by Alexandre Damas sons and been also noted toward her life when she happened to be pennieless. He happened to be quite involved in an ill-fated performance with the notorious curtesan Marie Duplessis. It had been considered MGMS most lavish and briliantly done films. The film had featured what many of us viewers who critic the film quite magnificantly done. Obviously it happened to be one of Garbos greatest successful film performances she had ever done. The stars here in this movie made perfect for each one of their characters that they had shown us. They had all feel warmth while watching how beautifully done. It was to me a masterpiece to go and see. I had noticed it had taught a great deal of respect and had showed really good values of life... I also was amazed and adored the costumes which had been based on a work by Alexandre Dumas junior. The opera LA Traviota had to me was quite a inspiring and quite enjoyable to listen to. The actual performances were to me very exceptional on my part and also the cinemtography brought us alot of enthusiasm.
