Frank Langella's performance is over the top. His portrayal of Nixon is stunning in that he looks, acts and speaks like Nixon but, more importantly, he succeeds in demonstrating that Nixon wasn't just a dumb, dishonest politician. Nixon was a very astute and wiley character who could hold his own in intellectual conversations and easily put his detractors back on their heels with his playful banter. Michael Sheen could have done a better job as Frost but all of the other supporting actors were great. This is a good semi-historical fillm. Langella is a strong contender for the Oscar!
