Found the sequence of events very predictable. Dialog repetitive and kind of dumb. Performance from Brosnan was very good, Parker overacts and doesn't have to, she's likeable in the role, you can relate in spite of some of the antics (although she was hysterical wildly scratching her head, she has comedic talent) But the film is not modern to our times in the end, the pressure is, as usual, on the woman's career. What about the father's? Was he and his handling of his career perfect? We'll never know because the film did not go that deep or treat the situation fairly. Disappointing and I think not helpful to modern couples. And because of the backlash, not really funny enough. Too bad!
