Yes, it was very cheesy and not so good as the first part, but we still had a good time watching it. Disrespectful of the islamic "culture"? Keeping women as slaves is respectful?

Lol u really are ignorant! In islamic "culture" women aren't slaves, yes they have much less freedom but slaves! Learn to chose your words because one might say that you are disrespectful. And okay maybe some women are treated as slaves, but there are women treated as slaves everywhere, as there are children treated as slaves everywhere, don't blame it on islamic culture I bet u meant to say the culture is way too harsh on woman, but I do agree with you that the movie wasn't disrespectful of the culture, they were just watching through western eyes which is completely understandable.

Yes, you are right, bad things happen everywhere, BUT at least they are not part of the "culture" as a normal, accepted fact. I can not respect a "culture" where men are allowed to have sex with 9 years old little girls and do whatever they want.

I can assure you that that's NOT part of the islamic culture... it's like saying that in the Christian culture it's okay for preasts to sleep with children... that's just dumb! I come from an arab country and most of my friends come from other arab countries and I can tell you that when we go on vacations out there, we have as much fun as we do in here (wearing bikinis on the beach and sexy outfits in clubs).. and I am talking about islamic countries... of course you have some SECTIONS in SOME countries that are rough and treat women like s%*& but that is NOT a behavior that is accepted by the "culture". You're only mislead because you rely on what you see on TV... don't forget that the newschanels only put what's juicy out there...

Yes it's a completely stupid right that men are granted by the qoran, but when you say that you disrespect a culture, you're saying that you disrespect that entire culture which includes everyone and everything in it. And might I add that it doesn't happen often anymore that 9 yr olds get married in that culture, it's mostly the uneducated and ignorant that don't know better but to follow by the letter something made more than a thousand years ago who do that. So when you say something like that you're insulting people for nothing. And it's true that even without that law, islam is filled with injustice, but it doesn't allow any of us to be disrespectful of that culture, because there are good people and good morals in it too. Just choose your ideas and words carefully.
