Superbad

OK, I just saw this movie last night, and OMG I almost busted a gut laughing! It is hilarious, but also quite sweet at heart. The humor is definitely quite crude, but at the same time, the story has a purpose, and a nice moral to it... In the end!!! Mind you, teenagers will find it hilarious, but may not get the whole gyst of it, as it is a reflection back on high school days. The actors were simply amazing, and the script was just plain effective!!! Kudos to Seth Rogen for co-writing it, co-producing it, and for his role as one of the most unforgettable cop duos on film! I've heard some people say it had long parts in it. I didn't find it did, but then again, I'm in my mid-thirties, so I can totally appreciate the story and the moral, and to tell a good story with a good moral, you need to take your time and not rush the storyline and jokes. This was just an excellent movie, with excellent performances, and most excellent moments scattered throughout. This is what going to the movies is all about!!!
