The Tracey Fragments bursts off the screen with electrifying originality that makes even the best from Darren Aronofonsky, Michel Gondry, Dany Boyle, and David Lynch look boring in comparison. This film is an awe inspiring glimpse at things that we never knew cinema to be capable of. Bruce McDonald to put it quite simply has crafted one of the greatest Canadian works ever, and he and his film should be heralded as our most important cultural exports in years. Describing how well the multi-frame composition works and the storytelling style within them would be a useless effort on my part. See this film. If you have any love or appreciation for cinema, see this immediately.
