I really liked this film from a philosophical point of view. No matter how much we differ we face the same issues. We create our lives (or do we? ) and then we live them, but not without things getting in our way - we screw up, we have to face our own limitations - physical, mental, emotional and sometimes thing just happen. And what do we do then? Are our lives just our fates? What was he supposed to do? Same question in regards to the daughter. Thanks to the film maker for not going all hollywood on us. Mickey Rourke is simply amazing.
