I must say right away that I was disappointed in this movie. I expected a fresh, solid comedy. Instead, I got a movie packed with "schlong" jokes. OK, I will admit that Adam Sandler isn't the most intellectual or deep comedian out there, but that doesn't mean he has to resort to cheap kiddy laughs like that throughout an entire movie. The first half of the movie was good, and funny. But there was a big drag in the 2nd half. It just kind of slowed down to a turtle's pace. In addition to easy and brainless "schlong" jokes, the movie then tries to become a think piece on people's perceptions on Middle East immigrants. I applaud it for trying to pull this off amidst all the "schlong" jokes. This wasn't a very bad movie... just really not a good one. This was more for my 14-year old son, who laughed his rear off along with his friends. I, on the other hand, expected much more good solid humour. And don't get me wrong, I laughed and cried in SuperBad and Knocked Up, but those 2 movies are far superior to this one. Just my opinion.
