    Seven

A remarkable film I saw years ago but re-visited just a few days ago. Pitt and Freeman are detectives on the trail of someone vicious who has a rather unusual propensity in life. This riveting thriller also stars Oscar Winner Gwyneth Paltrow and a surprising turn from Kevin Spacey who had not quite made a name for himself. David Fincher is able to combine so many freaky themes and characters in this film which I consider the ultimate of all thrillers. The film might be very dark, full of filth, horror and other degradations of the human condition, even an intellectual challenge or component, yet you won't be able to keep your eyes off the "bloody" screen as you are knocked for a total loop, sitting on the edge of your seat and possibly right off it.
