We get too many effects driven films nowadays, Edge Of Tomorrow is a prime example, so I never saw it, Transformers 4 could have been Michael Bay's comeback, but what a waste that was. I used free passes on this so I wouldn't be paying him to [...] in his editing room again, never again. 165 min? I confused when there is no story, the filmmaking is neither authentic or emotional resonating with it's characters. I think he's done it, the worst movie of the century.

You should seriously go see Edge of Tomorrow if that's what you think. It's probably the best movie of the summer so far. Very creative and well-written. It's nowhere near simply a "effect-drive film".
I think I might, people seem to, to like it, to say it is purely effect-driven might've been a little cynical on my part.
