An epic 10-part miniseries based on the book by Stephen E. Ambrose, "Band of Brothers" tells the story of the men of Easy Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, U.S. Army - from their rigorous boot camp training in Georgia in 1942 through the capture of Hitler's Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden in 1945. These men who knew bravery and fear. They were an elite rifle company parachuting into France early on D-Day morning. They were also a unit that suffered 150 percent casualties, and whose lives became legend. Their incredible story conveys the rarely seen human side of war - the camaraderie, teamwork, brotherhood, trust and loyalty that made these men true heroes.
