An intriguing journey that leaves me wondering could this really happen in reality? Survival or Death on Earth. Awesome story, cast and direction made it crowd pleaser. $$$

Could it happen in reality? No, humanity would simply mine asteroids for resources if the earth's got too scarce and we'd build greenhouses to grow food if the environment got too dicey, breeder nukes if there was no other option for energy, etc... There, the entire premise of the movie blown away in a single sentence. (Can you tell I am not a fan of this movie?)
