Despicable Me 2

"Despicable Me 2" contains a weak plot, annoying new characters, and no big leaps to separate this movie from "Despicable Me." The success of this movie seems to be directly related to the ability of the Minions (the little yellow people) to make you laugh. The type of comedy displayed by the Minions is a slap-stick "Dumb And Dumber" meets "The Three Stooges." For me, having seen stuff like "Dumb and Dumber"," The Three Stooges" and "Looney Toons", the Minions in "Despicable Me 2" are just weak knock-offs and simply aren't funny... As for the people in the theatre with me, only kids laughed (approx. Ages 10-) and the two girls who were near me who had a laugh-contest and laughed at everything (Oh look, there's a balloon," Hahaha", oh look now there's two balloons," Hahaha". I haven't seen 'the laugh contest' in any movie since I went to see "Dude, Where's My Car? " when I was 11-12... All, in all, I recommend this movie for toddlers. And parents make sure you got a big bag of popcorn to protect you from the horrendously boring movie.
