It's okay but it's one of those stories where you realize the main characters are being foolhardy and it's very hard to feel sorry for any of them. The guides want to make money, the climbers want to beat nature and when bad things happen to such people, it doesn't make for great entertainment. On the plus side, it's easy to pretend you get to see what it'd be like to climb Everest without any risk.
