A brilliant movie. Visually captivating and beautiful. The story-line in very intriguing. As much of the movie is just Matt Damon on screen, I was worried about it getting boring with no other outside interactions, but I didn't feel that way at all. The plants, food, home, rover and of course science, all become part of the cast and draw you in. Matt Damon deserves a nod for this one, he does an amazing job, his approach reminded me of his character in Good Will Hunting, smart, witty and very engaging. I love Ridley Scott as a director, he takes risks and doesn't try to fit into any one genre. Almost perfectly cast with the exception of Jessica Chastain.
