What a movie! I mean I thought it was brilliant. Gwyneth was brilliant in the part, she was definitely the most convincing character along with Sir Anthony Hopkins of course. You really do not need to love math to enjoy this movie just the though of a girl who feels alone in the world after her father's death. I really felt for her during the movie, how she was misunderstood and treated by her sister and loved the way the movie ended with such optimism towards her future. (It really bothers me that some people here think she should have been more cheery, her character wasn't! That's what makes her good as an actress in the role!!! )
