Money for the island no duh! I'm not going to debate whether there's a god with you, and you might consider I made the pearly gate comment tongue-in-cheek, but you might be interested to know Mel got his facts wrong... it wasn't the Spanish who kicked the Mayans out and Catholicized the masses, the Mayan civilization died out on its own.
