I really enjoyed this film because the plot was thrilling, the acting was good, and the script was believable and often funny. The story is about the CIA saving 6 americans who'd fled their embassy during the IRAN revolution. Using unconventional means of going there under the guise of scouting locations for a film, the CIA went to amazing lengths to make it look real. Soliciting the help of a well known Hollywood make-up artist and producer, this true CIA story unfolds as one half caper and one half thrill-ride. Nice to see the Canadian role in all of it. I heard later the Brits and New Zealanders and even some Canadians didn't think their involvement was portrayed strongly enough in the film. To which I respond, if you want to tell the story your way, make a film! The Americans told the World War II story from their perspective in Band of Brothers as well. This is what you get to do when you're putting up the big bucks to make films. I am liking Ben Affleck more and more and this film is his best work so far.
