Chasing Ice

I love a good documentary as much as the next nerd, but this wasn't one. It was amateur night. There was a lot of potential with all of the footage they had, but I felt it was wasted as we don't get to see enough of it. The movie loses focus on its goal, and bounces around too much. Not surprising, given that a scientist put the movie together. Felt somewhat preachy, and in the end, was anticlimactic because they used too little of the photos and video they spent so much of the movie trying to shoot. It should have been a sixty minute doc on the discovery channel, not a movie.
