Woody Allen just doesn't got it anymore. He used to pick heavyweight theatrical actors for his roles and his dialogue was so much better in his previous films. A couple things bugged me so much, they continually interfered with my enjoyment of this little caper. Owen Wilson's foppish boyish haircut and the level of obnoxious behaviour from his fiance. I mean I get it, they're not a match, but did they have to go that over the top? I felt the dialogue was tired and repetitive. How many times does Wilson's character exclaim oh my god, another artist from the past? The movie droned on and on and I was bored. It was evident from the start what the outcome would be and I felt myself thinking I wish they'd hurry up and get to the finish line.
