This ravishingly, beautifully shot film which won the Grand Prize at the Cannes film festival is not a film that will suit everyone's taste. It tested my patience more than once. The entire build up to the film is somewhat long and should have been trimmed to make it more concise and thus much more acceptable for an audience. In any case, this film about a search by a type of posse is quite haunting especially with so many scenes shot at nightfall. What is staggering about the film is that the search leads to findings that only complicate matters and lead to more questions than answers or solutions. If you are of the introspective type, this film will greatly appeal to you.
